BUILDING IN PHOEBUS’ DAY (1ST FLOOR OF THE ROUND TOWER)
In the middle of the room, there’s a mock-up representing a 14th century construction site, the people involved and the building techniques used. There are also illustrations on display boards depicting the different building trades. Note the jobbers’ marks on the walls (the stone-cutters’ signatures).
THE WORLDS OF KING HENRY (2ND FLOOR OF THE SQUARE TOWER)
Around Henry IV’s monumental bed, the recently restored jewel of the département’s collection, a visual and aural production that projects you into the times of the Vert Galant (the Ladies’ Man).
